From Optiroc into maxit
This is to
inform that the name of Optiroc Group is changing to maxit Group as from 1
January 2005.
One group - one name
Optiroc has been a
part of Heidelberg Group for years. Together with Beamix and maxit, it has
belonged to a division of Heidelberg Cement, Heidelberg Building Materials
Europe (HBE). Now the corporation has decided to change its name to maxit
Group. The alteration will be in force from 1 January 2005.
Optiroc
Oy Ab in Finland will be maxit Oy Ab
In connection with this legal
re-organization, also the name of Optiroc Oy Ab will be changed to maxit Oy Ab.
The new name will be officially adopted starting from the beginning of 2005.
New name, new packages - familiar brands
The change of
the company name has no effect on our brands, products or strategies. As
before, our operations will be based on the expertise of our trained teams and
well-known brands, such as Vetonit and Serpo.
However, the new company
name will be visible also in new product packages, as shown in the enclosed
press material. The name and packages will be launched by means of
advertisements, TV spots and billboards.

strongest brands in the building sector. Their success is based on thorough
research and product development that meets the challenges of demanding and
extreme building conditions. Despite the change of the company name, our R
